Sendigbaude in Bad Schandau

Beautiful little place - here I have drunk the best hot chocolate in ages 😍. It also tastes wonderful with a sip of rum 😉 It's nice and cozy here and has a nice ambience

Good beer, nice service, despite skepticism from the other reviews, although we came shortly before the end.

Nice view over the river Elbe and easy to reach for non-residents with the elevator (fee). Quality of the food in order, unfortunately the service is not very friendly, we felt very uncomfortable. The location alone does not tear it out ...

Small but nice! The Sendigbaude is located directly at the bridge access to the historic passenger elevator. It is a small coffee with a sufficient selection of food and drinks. The service is good and efficient. The view of the valley and the elevator is very nice! For little explorers, there is still a lynxes next door.

Actually a beautiful little cafe in a prime location. However, hospitality is written very small here. Already on our last visit we were addressed very rude. It may all be, but on our visit this week again a completely incomprehensible behavior for me. It is New Year's Eve in the afternoon. The café is apparently open and a woman enters. The lady is immediately annoyed at the front of the door with the note, if she could not read "Monday and Tuesday closed" and accompanied outside. This is absolutely unacceptable no matter if loading on or off.

Had some coffee and tea here. Was ok. Toilets very clean, had to ask for the key.
